Mark founded Cathexis Partners in the fall of 2008. Prior to that, he was the Director of IT Consulting at an event production company focused on producing nonprofit events. In his nearly five years as Director, Mark and his team supported several NPO fundraising event websites, the largest of which was Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day. Before this, Mark left his corporate IT project management job after completing an IT efficiency project. The project proved successful and resulted in the layoff of over 250 employees, including Mark. Today he considers this the best non-move in his career because it led him to the call of supporting nonprofit organizations. Mark is currently responsible for operations, sales, and client & partner relations.

As a specialist in supporting Affiliates with Convio, she helps affiliates with the full range of small "how-to" questions to more complicated tasks, including customizing and launching online registrations for their largest fundraising event - The Race for the Cure. She prides herself on building positive working relationships with clients.

Tracy has over 15 years experience working in technology primarily for nonprofit organizations. The past 3 years she has been focused solely on nonprofit organizations. With a BS in Computer Information Science and some graduate studies in NGO and Nonprofit Management, she is constantly continuing to expand her skills with classes and self study. Tracy has experience with a broad spectrum of nonprofit CRMs including Donor Perfect, BlackBaud, SalesForce, Convio, Tessitura, and iMis. In addition, she has a very strong database management in SQL and MySQL.

Under Tim's leadership, teams have rolled out websites capturing millions of visitors, increased productivity on major web and software projects, and realized millions of dollars in combined licensing and marketing value. Previously, he worked at Heifer International and the American Red Cross National Headquarters as a business systems analyst, tech project manager and online fundraising data analyst. Additionally, he has many years of Convio project management consulting experience. He has an extensive history working overseas (mostly in Africa) on international technology projects with organizations such as Winrock & ACDI/VOCA. Chad holds a master’s degree in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Prior to Convio he acquired six years experience in higher education and non-profit sectors in Web Producer and technical coordinator roles. He has worked with PC2 since its pre-release, is proficient in Convio’s APIs, and is a master of implementing and managing site wrappers within the Convio environment.

As Account Manager, Nicole manages new client deployments and project retainers. Prior to Cathexis, Nicole worked at Convio for 5 ½ years as a Project Manager working on a diverse range of deployments and Enterprise retainers.
In addition to the team members listed above, Cathexis works with several consultants on a project by project basis. We are a virtual organization (everyone works from their home offices) with no employees and all compensation is based on work done. This combined system reduces unnecessary costs such as office space and idle work hours. Cathexis’ structure allows us to pass those savings on to our clients in the form of lower pricing.
